Temple Hill Arts Sound System

Don protégé
For 20 years, Alan Chipman has kept events happening on Temple Hill in Oakland. From Magic of Christmas, to Lamb of God, to Scrooge, to the signature Temple Hill Choir, which he founded. Over the years, I've worked with him as a Producer, Co-Producer, choir member, and on stage in the various productions. As his friend and assistant on most of these projects, I can tell you that the funding for these projects has come, many times, out of Alan's own pocket! I personally have seen him put out TENS of thousands of dollars on projects that are performed for free, as a benefit to the community.

This year we find ourselves in a bind. The person who has provided our sound reinforcement for the past number of years has semi-retired and sold his equipment. Rental costs for the necessary gear would be somewhere in the neighborhood of $15,000, and that's just for one production! We have determined it is much more cost effective to buy our own equipment to have available for all the productions performed on Temple Hill and in the community.

So, we come to you, asking for donations to support the purchase of sound equipment that will allow us to continue to provide wonderfully uplifting performances on Temple Hill and elsewhere. Please, give what you can to help fund this necessary purchase. Let's not allow Alan to once again shoulder the financial burden on his own.

We love you. We appreciate you. We hope to have you perform with us, or for us to perform for you, in the very near future.

Thank you!
