Temp loggers for turtle nests

Hi, my name is Leanne and I'm fundraising for Magnetic Island Network for Turtles (MINT), a volunteer organisation on Magnetic Island on the Great Barrier Reef helping with the rehabilitation and conservation of sea turtles. During nesting season we monitor sea turtle nests (flatbacks and greens) on the island. This includes monitoring sand temperatures and covering exposed nests to help keep the eggs cool to ensure a high hatchling rate and gender balance (warmer nests equals more females). We had some of our sand monitors stolen and desperately need more. Instead of using our hospital funds which pays for food and medicine for in care turtles (raised through bottle donations and occassional fundraising events) we ask you to help by donating to this gofundme to raise enough money for 10 temperature loggers. This will replace the missing one and give us a couple more to monitor another two nests here on Maggie Island.
