This is Kelsey Hallowell and her daughter Emaly. They've been displaced by the derecho disaster in Iowa. Kelsey lost her house in the 2008 floods. She finally raised $10,000 cash to pay for her own trailer home and now it's gone too. This money will help her pay for a place to stay, food and other necessities while FEMA hopefully covers the costs of her home. Right now they're sleeping on a mattress in her van. 
I'm currently trying to find a hotel for them to stay in until we find a rental property.

Update: they are in a hotel for the next couple nights. We're still trying to find them a place to stay until FEMA money comes through.
