Honouring the Life and Legacy of Engr. Temisanren Edema-Sillo.
Dear Friends, Family, and Kindhearted Supporters,
With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Engr Temisanren Edema-Sillo - a devoted father, brother, uncle, a cherished husband, and an inspiration to all who knew him. On March 8, 2026, Temisan as he was fondly called, completed his earthly journey, succumbing to a long and difficult battle with a malignant cancer.
He now rests in the Lord, leaving behind his beloved wife, Irene, and companies of grieving family and friends that cherished him deeply.
A Life Devoted to the Academia and family.
Temisanren Edema-Sillo was born into family of late barrister Sam Oma Edema-Sillo in Warri Delta state, Nigeria, where he was raised in the fear of God. His life was marked by an insatiable quest for academic expansion, unshakable faith, deep love for people, and an unwavering commitment to community development.
In March 2009, he got married to the love of his life – Irene Edema-Sillo, and together they are blessed with three beautiful daughters Toritseju, Toritsemotse and Toritsenere.
Their lives, however, took an unexpected turn when Temisan got diagnosed of an aggressive form of cancer when he was at Ontario, Canada for his post graduate studies. He faced this battle with grace, courage, and faith, believing that God’s plan for his life, family and young daughters would be fulfilled. Throughout the ordeal, he remained joyful, dedicated to his family, and a pillar of inspiration to those around him.

Funeral arrangements (visitation and interment) have been entrusted to Thornton Funeral Centre, 1200 Thornton Road North, Oshawa, Ontaio L1J0C9. Traditional rites according to the Itsekiri culture shall follow in his home town in Warri, Delta state, Nigeria - on a specified date that shall be communicated in due course.
His friends and family plan to give Temisan a befitting send-forth; whilst giving his young children a good head-start at life without their beloved father.
