Temi Medical Fund

On behalf of the Ashby family, Shivers is doing a small fundraiser night and opening this Gofundme to allow as many people as possible to donate and help this sweet small family. Medical bills can quickly get out of hand for anyone dealing with such drastic and difficult circumstances. Please consider donating and supporting one of our very young community members here in Cache Valley, Artemis, affectionately called Temi.

The following are details provided by the family:

"Artemis spent the beginning of her life in the NICU, doctors unable to explain her weak muscle tone, fatigue, and eating and breathing difficulties. After a month, she finally received her diagnosis: a rare genetic syndrome called Prader-Willi. Prader-Willi Syndrome is a lifelong condition due to an error on the 15th chromosome. Artemis has to work hard for every milestone, requiring physical, occupational, speech, and nutritional therapies as well as growth hormone treatment. Artemis is a tough little girl and continues to amaze everyone in her life, but the medical bills continue to stack up. We have had two life flights and extra stays at Primary Children's. She is currently about to undergo two surgeries (to place a g-tube for feeding and to remove her tonsils and adenoids to help with breathing).
