The Tell-Tale Heart (Facebook Live Show)
If you are missing live theatre as much we are, then this 'Isolation Creation' project might interest you!
The Tell-Tale Heart is a macabre short story, following an unnamed narrator as he tries to convince the reader of his sanity whilst describing the gruesome details of how he murdered an old man, seemingly with the only motive being that the man had a "vulture eye". The story is considered one of Edgar Allan Poe's greatest work, and we will be performing the whole story, unabridged, to an online audience, live on Facebook.
"My name is Stephen, an actor and with the help of my bother, David, behind the camera and my girlfriend, Stephanie Van Den Driesen, operating the lights, sound and music, we hope to present as professional a production as possible... whilst in lock-down... from our living room... with zero budget!"
The show was live-streamed from our theatre company's Facebook page (www.facebook.com/3dumbtheatre) at 10pm on both Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th May. Both shows are now uploaded on our Facebook page.
Take care and stay safe :)
