Tell Barbara that she is not alone

Barbara recently had major surgery due to life-threatening infections to her colon and appendix. Although she was discharged from the hospital, she is struggling with the pain, infections, and trouble of carrying a colostomy bag, and is having to recover without any assistance. The expected recovery time for her is about 6 to 12 months.
Aside from these health problems, Barbara's house was taken by foreclosure as she couldn’t afford to pay the mortgage. She is now staying at a rental place. The place itself is not ideal at all for someone who is sick and dealing with the infection.
Given Barbara’s health and residential conditions, and the time that she should be away from work, this fundraiser is aimed at helping her to better deal with the difficulties. We would like to tell Barbara that she is not alone and can count on our help. Any donation would be greatly appreciated.
