Fund Telford the Cat’s Life-Saving FIP Treatment
Donation protected
Telford the cat is undergoing a promising treatment for an otherwise fatal disease. Your donation will help pay for the medicine to cure him and keep him with us. Anything you can give would mean the world to me, T, and everyone who loves him. Please read on if you want to know more about the treatment and Telford's story!
Telford survived the Oregon wildfires and life as a feral cat before he was rescued, but you'd never know he had such a difficult start: He's blossomed into quite the lovebug since he was rescued in 2019. Now, my sweet four-year-old kitty is in another fight for his life—this time with Feline Infectious Peritontitis (FIP), a serious disease that until recently was invariably and quickly fatal.

Telford's already started injections (time is of the essence, as FIP often progresses very quickly), and is showing signs of improvement. He's eating on his own, grooming, even playing a bit, a big leap for a kitty who just a few days ago had a high fever and was fed through a syringe.
Continuing the ~12-week regimen of daily injections will cost thousands for a big kitty like T. I will do absolutely everything I can to keep him here, but I need help.
In addition to paying for vials of the lifesaving medicine, any donations will go toward paying for Telford's supplementary care—he'll need frequent vet visits to check his bloodwork and ensure that his condition is improving, prescriptions to manage pain, and syringes and other supplies. I've already paid thousands in emergency care and I won't be able to finish his treatment on my own.
Keeping Telford with us is the most important challenge I’ve ever taken on. Anything you can give means the world to both of us—please help me give this darling soul the long life of comfort and love that he so deserves.
