Help students in Honduras see the stars!

[UPDATE]: This fundraiser has reached its goal and I am incredibly grateful for the selfless generosity to make this project a reality! We brought 3 telescopes, multiple eyepieces, multiple astronomy books, as well as a 3D printer and other resources to Honduras. This will an incredible learning opportunity for the students and community to look at the stars!

North Star Scientific is working to raise money to supply telescopes and learning resources for rural schools and communities in Honduras. Help students gain access to critical educational tools and inspire them to discover the night sky!

Rural Hondurans can be greatly empowered by expanding access to educational resources. We are taking telescopes to the town of La Unión, Lempira, Honduras to donate to schools for educational and community use. These telescopes will teach kids about astronomy, introduce them to engineering and problem-solving, and help them dream bigger for their community.

We will provide as many Travel Telescopes from North Star Scientific as we can. After that, additional funds will go towards other educational resources or non profits for local schools and the community.
