At The Tekiah, the first and only Jewish magazine at the George Washington University, we aim to provide in-depth coverage of Jewish news, arts, culture, and opinions, spotlighting influential figures within the Jewish community and in Washington, DC. Through insightful reporting, we strive to highlight the stories that shape our community, fostering a deeper understanding of Jewish culture, heritage, and leadership. Due to limited funding from the university, we cannot afford to print issues for more than one month this year, let alone while making our work available online. To achieve the level of empowerment and expression that we believe the GW Jewish community deserves, we need to invest in printing our words and funding our website, ensuring that those near and far can hear our voices.
