Tami Church Recovering from Accident

Hi, my name is Tami (Casper) Church. I am from a small town in Illinois called Cissna Park. I also lived in Milford, IL and Hoopeston, IL. I moved to Indianapolis, IN when I was 18 years old (1989) and made a very diverse and interesting life.

I am now 53 years old and I had a life changing experience on September 29, 2022. I was struck by a large pick up truck while crossing a rather busy intersection on my bicycle!

I subsequently flew about 5 foot in the air before landing on the pavement with a broken leg, broken arm, broken nose, internal bruising, stitches and lumps on my face and skull, and degenerative spinal damage. As a result, I had surgery where metal rods and pins were placed in my leg and arm.

This accident has caused me to be incapacitated and I have no way to pay my rent or bills. An attorney has been hired to handle my case, but it will take months to settle due to the extent of my injuries. In the meantime, I am seeking any kind of help I can get to help me get by for at least a few months until I can find other resources to assist me and my position.

Any assistance I receive will be appreciated more than you could ever know. I have looked every where through public and government assistance for people in this position and there is nothing available immediately.
