Our mother, Teirette Volpe-Kapoor was diagnosed with a brain tumor in early August and underwent surgery in California at UCSF on September 24th. It turned out to be a Glioblastoma grade 4. Her surgeon was able to remove between 80 and 90% of the tumor but she needs to return to San Francisco for Radiation and Chemo treatments.

A family friend was able to connect her with someone who graciously offered their home for the first half of mom’s treatment. But she will have to rent an apartment for the second month. She will then return to Idaho and have an additional 6 months of treatment. Mom has one month until her paid sick time will end and then she will not have any income for living or medical expenses, which currently exceed $8,000 before her return for this next round of treatment.

Our mother is a warrior and is determined to defy statistics by working with a medical team that is helping her to treat this tumor metabolically as well as conventionally. We are asking you to join her and enable her with financial support if you are able, to pray for her healing, and to add her to to your church or church group prayer chains
