The Tehya Ruiz College Fund
We congratulate and salute Tehya Ruiz
she is officially a 2018 Oakland School of the Arts graduate!
Tehya has been accepted to:
University of Arts London, College of Fashion
“A leading international fashion education, partnering with institutions in countries all over the world delivering opportunities, specialist courses and the chance for our students and staff to exchange knowledge and cultural value.”
Tehya plans to attend this Fall. Tuition and housing costs are $35,200 and your financial gifts in any amount towards her higher education are greatly appreciated!

Tehya is a driven person who has spent much of her free time building her craft. She has stayed up long nights on productions at school and outside of school, fueled by passion and talent. She has dedicated weekends to planning photo shoots to display her unique fashion perspective. Be it designing clothing, styling, doing hair and make up for models and scouting locations, all to gain experience in her field of choice and to build her portfolio.
She was determined to expand her education in a cutting edge cosmopolitan city. When she was interviewed by the University’s Panel, she was accepted into the program on the spot. However, the school does not offer financial aid to international students. While Tehya will be applying for other scholarships in this coming year, we are raising the funds to kick off her University education now.
Tehya lacks neither talent, or courage. That being said, it takes a village to support our dreams and endeavors. With your support we will meet her tuition goals and continue to propel Tehya into this next part of her educational journey! As payments are scheduled throughout the school year, we will keep this fund going, should you want to donate in the coming months.
