Tegan needs our help
Donation protected
Hello.
Our Tegan has been dealing with some health issues for a while and was recently diagnosed with leukemia. She will be admitted to The Gibson Pavillion at Maine Med in the next few days to begin treatment. She is facing a potentially lengthy stay to absorb the magical potions (as she calls them) to help her heal.
Tegan just celebrated her birthday which was also the day that she had her biopsy and the day that she was let go from her job. In addition to losing her income she is also losing her health insurance and other benefits.
Tegan is a graduate of Kennett High School. She has been a caregiver for over 20 years. She started her career as a vet tech and then moved onto helping humans. She worked for Visiting Nurses in the Mount Washington Valley before moving to Maine to work at Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center and begin her career in mental health. Her most recent work was helping people in recovery and developing a peer recovery program in her town of Porter, Maine. Tegan maintains a deep connection with The Mount Washington Valley where she grew up especially Bald Hill Road.
Tegan is a generous and wonderful human full of mischief and magic. She rarely asks for help but this time she needs it. Any amount is wonderful and gratefully accepted. Times are weird and if you are unable to donate - sharing this would help immensely.
Let’s help Tegan relax about living expenses and medical bills so she can focus on her healing and get back to cuddling her critters, spending time in nature with her sweetheart, making art and potions and making us laugh and feel loved. She is precious and beloved.
Thank you all so much.
Love you all, Tegan and the Deyak-Mixer-Willis-Peavey Clan
