Dear friends,
The worst fear of every collector is to lose the results of all those years of painstakingly gathering the things that give you joy.
A break in at a storage unit last month saw this nightmare become reality for my friend, Mike Logan, who lost thousands of dollars worth of collectibles, many rare and some one of a kind.
From action figures to comic books to original art and gaming figurines, Mike's treasures were all stolen away and have not been recovered, in spite of arrests made in the case (see the story linked below).

I'm hoping that Mike's friends and family, as well as sympathetic collectors everywhere, will help him out in the wake of all this.
While it will be difficult to fully recover from such as loss, I hope that an outpouring of kindness (and some cash) will help Mike start to rebuild and to see that there is still plenty of goodness in the world.
