Teffts Losses due to Fire

Early this morning a barn that housed chickens, a horse, hay, grain, firewood and other personal belongings caught fire. Everything in the barn except for the horse is gone. The family car that sat in the driveway is gone. What used to be the front door to the house is now gone. Thank God no one was hurt, and the house is still standing, however due to this family's losses, two other houses in the area also sufferent damage from this fire.

Skip and Rosemary Tefft have had active roles in the community. Skip is on the Deerfield Valley Rescue, and has been on the fire department and ambulance for 30+ years. Rosemary volunteers at the food pantry and has been active for over 15 years. They have given so much to the community in service and now its your turn to give back to them.

I am asking for donations of funds to help restore what was damaged in the fire, as well as building another storage area for the horse, hay and firewood.

I am also asking for donations of firewood to help get through this winter, the family was only needing to purchase a small amount until this point.  Some hay is also needed for the horse.

Every little bit helps. Other items in the barn were the snowblower, and lawn mower, wood splitter, tires etc. Everything that can be replaced, however it will be hard to recover these items without the funds.

I also don't want to leave any detail out, there were chickens that were lost as well, These chickens did produce some eggs. Also it is beileved that one of the family cats was lost in this fire.

Someone has already brought over a horse trailer for the horse to have shelter for the time being.

Please donate anything you can to help out. It will be greatly appreciated!!
Thank you so much!!
