FLOOD CLOSE STORE BT HOPEFULLY NOT OUR YOUTH PROGRAMS
A flood in our UbU4U store located in Scotia Square, not only closed our doors weeks before Christmas, it also might close the doors for our, =ITY Inspiring Today’s Youth Society TeEntrepreneur program, scheduled for March 1, 2024.
Funds from our store gave;
To date gave over 4000 backpacks to black, brown and ally youth
Provided for the Joe Howe Breakfast Program
Provided donations to the Mi'kmaw Native Friendship Centre
Gave to the Parker Street and Beacon House Food Banks
Donated to GBTQIA2S via Cape Cowl in Lower Sackville
Provided a platform for over 20 youth to gain work experience
Funds from our store was also collected to assist in our TeEntrepreneur Program
In brief: Fifty youth are booked to come face to face with the professionals they dream to be. U must C it, 2 B it!
This hands on and very interactive weekend summit, places youth on the path towards educational and career success. Meet, interview and network with key professionals who is in the same fields they dream to be.
Our store is closed and I refuse to have our program closed as well, which is why I ask for your support. I do not want to tell any youth they cannot attend, and any support you can give will be appreciated.
