Chimerical Theater Company is raising money for its second production, Fun Home!
Chimerical Theater Company is a New York City-based teen-run theater collective. CTC works to provide teens with a richer, more intellectual, artistic theatrical experience (a rare sight in a city where youth theater is often powered by money and stardom). CTC prides itself on its collaborative, hands-on and "without the glitz" environment. We truly focus on drama, without the drama.
Our inaugural production of William Finn's "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee" was a complete success (check out our website to watch the video). Since then, we have DOUBLED (!) the size of our company. Our production of Fun Home will be the first NYC production since the curtain closed on the Broadway run in 2013. It is also the first youth production of the show. This show is so meaningful and close to the hearts of our company members and we cannot wait to share it with you.
Our productions are completely free to cast and production members and we function solely on ticket sales and the generosity of others. Donations will go towards our rehearsal studios, music director, props, costumes, set and theater space. If you have a specific area you would like to donate to, please let us know.
Continually, if you make a donation, you will receive a free ticket to the show in June!
