Teenage Siblings Need Support After Tragic Loss of Mother

Can you imagine being on your deathbed and you can't let go when your body wants you to because you're worried who will take care of your kids?

Our dear friend, Giovanna, just died at the young age of 54 after battling cancer for the last 6 years. Life has not been easy for this family. Giovanna was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer in 2019, which spread to her liver, then her lungs, and her brain. She was an incredible warrior to fight this aggressive cancer for so long, all while working full time to support her family as the sole provider. She did every radiation and chemotherapy treatment possible. She fought for her life because she knew that her kids needed her since the father is not in the picture. She worked tirelessly to put her kids through school, feed them, and create a very loving and happy life. Sadly, that is all gone now and her kids really need our help. They were left without any financial backing.

These are three teenage siblings—Gianna, Marco, and Angelina—who are deep in mourning, and we are worried how they will afford basic needs, as well as the essential expenses that come with being engaged in school and life.

The oldest sister has a full scholarship to college and should be able to continue her studies so she can be financially stable in the future for all of them.

In the meantime, the two youngest have moved in with me and are in my care. We are doing our best to incorporate them into our family. However, they have a lot of expenses that my family cannot provide for them.

Most people, when given the chance, want to make a difference for others in need. Now is the time to make a difference in the lives of 3 teenagers, who just lost their mother after a long cancer battle. I'm advocating for these kids and asking people to find the compassion in their hearts to help these kids have a safety net. The kids are living with me now. I'm collecting the funds on their behalf as their caretaker. I will be using the funds collected to pay for the kids transportation, school, medical expenses, food, and all the expenses related to having them in my home.
