Teenage Cancer Trust - Walk Blyth to Whitley Bay 10th Aug 24

My Company has chosen to support the Teenage Cancer Trust and the theme is "Walk with us". I am organising a walk in aid of raising funds, from Blyth to Whitley Bay. Please drop me a message if you would like to sponser the walk or indeed join in with us.

The date for the walk is Saturday 10th of August. Start at 10am.

It'll start from the Mermaid car park Blyth, parking is free, park near the Blyth gun battery at the very end of the car park, this will be the meeting point. The route follows the coastal path, from Blyth to Seaton sluice.

At Seaton sluice there is a street coffee bar for refreshments, the route then takes the cliff top path to Whitley Bay light house, then along the cliff tops to the Spanish City ending at the Beefeater, for drinks.

The 308 or 309 busses run every ten minutes to return everyone back to the car park at Blyth at minimal cost. The walk, in total, is around 6 miles long and shouldn't take much longer than two hours.
