My name is Christopher Longfellow and I am here to share my nephews story. Two weeks ago he was burned badly in a backyard fire accident. Parker spent his first week in the Pediatric ICU and is still treated daily by the burn team at Shands where he is still admitted. He has 1st degree burns to his Face, 2nd and 3rd degree burns to arms, hands and legs. He underwent his first skin grafting surgery on Monday Dec 21 to arms, legs and hands and his 2nd surgery on Dec 26th. Even while spending his birthday and Christmas in the hospital, he continues to stay in high spirits. Parker is a gifted student who attends the Villages Charter school. He loves Science and idolizes Dmitri Mendeleev He loves to crack jokes and make people laugh. He also plays the Saxophone. He is remaining positive but will require months of physical therapy. All donations will go to Ambulance bill, Hospital bills, surgical bills and items needed for dressing changes and physical therapy.
