Teen Victim Airlifted After Tragic Crash - Help Nik Recover
Donation protected
On the night of Wednesday 3/26, my dear friend Nikolaos’s Rosen life changed forever. He and his beloved girlfriend Leila Rodriguez were on their way home from the fair, simply enjoying what should have been a fun and carefree evening. They were safe, responsible, and sober—just two good kids heading home.
Then, in an instant, everything was ripped away.
A reckless driver lost control on Stage Coach Trail late Wednesday night, veering into Nikolaos’s lane and crashing nearly head-on into their car. The impact was devastating. Leila Rodriguez, just 18 years old, was tragically killed at the scene. Nikolaos, only 17, was left with severe injuries and had to be airlifted to the hospital.
Right now, he’s facing an unimaginably painful road to recovery. He has a broken femur, a shattered ankle, and other serious injuries. But even worse than the physical pain is the heartbreak of losing someone he loved. No 17-year-old should ever have to endure this level of grief and suffering.
Nikolaos is not just any teenager—he is one of the hardest-working, most selfless people I know. While balancing school, he also works full-time to help support his family and plays a major role in raising his younger brother. He has always put others before himself, showing resilience and responsibility far beyond his years. He didn’t deserve this. Leila Rodriguez didn’t deserve this.
We are asking for support to help ease this burden and allow Nikolaos to focus on healing. Any contribution, no matter the amount, will make a difference in his journey toward recovery. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser would mean just as much.
