Teen gunned down in her own backyard

On June 6, while outside her own home, Bri was shot in head by her “friend”. To say her mother’s world has been turned upside down is an understatement. Bri laid out for 9hrs after being shot until her mother found her and got help, so she is indeed a fighter. Currently she is in ICU fighting for her life. Her mom has yet to leave her side. As a mother how can she? The doctors are very optimistic about her recovery as they see her respond a tiny bit more each day. If it isn’t difficult enough to decipher through what is going on with Bri, Delores (her mother), was fired from her job June 6. She called in to tell them she had an emergency she had to tend to and manager said “sorry we have to let you go”

Its hard and stressful enough sitting at Bri’s bedside watching and anxiously waiting for any type of movement. She still has other children at home plus bills.

Although family and friends have reached out to support, more is needed. Bri’s mother is very strong and independent so its hard for her to ask for monetary gifts.

Please find it in your heart to donate to Delores and Bri. I dont want her to have to stress over so much at once. Its hard enough sitting at her dtrs bedside waiting on signs of life. When in reality she not only has to worry about Bri and her condition, but also herself and other children as well.

The saying goes “it takes a village” so Im reaching out to the village. It doesnt matter what amount, she is grateful for anything at this point.
