Teen Battles Rare Germ Cell Tumor Cancer

Donation protected
Help Morgan Collins fight her Battle against Germ Cell Tumor Cancer. This rare cancer decided to make its appearance in Morgan’s ovaries at just the age of 17. This brave young lady is a Junior at Umatilla High School in Florida, and a former Mardela Middle School Maryland student. Morgan’s plan after she graduates is to join the armed forces. Unfortunately she's had to take a leave of absence from school, but is still communicating with her teacher's so she will pass and keep moving forward. She has also had to take a leave of absence from her job, where she has been employed for over a year at KFC. Morgan is a normal teenager who's life just got turned upside down.

She's preparing herself for the Battle to fight for her Life! Knowing that this is going to be the hardest fight she's ever had to face, she knows it's her fight. Her bravery through all this would make any Parent Proud!

Monday morning April 15, 2019 Morgan went to the hospital complaining about her stomach and back pain. Little did she know, she was about to undergo emergency surgery. After surgery Morgan's Doctor explained that the surgery didn't go as planned and we would know more in a few days after the biopsy results back. That Wednesday afternoon April 17, 2019 Morgan was having complications, so back to the hospital she went. Dr. Rogers wanted to be the one to tell Morgan her biopsy came back positive for (germ cell tumor cancer) and that she would do everything in her power to help her and she's been a blessing. Morgan at this time was in disbelief that this was happening to her. She's now accepted what's going on and is ready to face this unexpected challenge head on.

Morgan's first appointment is Tuesday April 30, 2019, this is for further testing and diagnosis. At this time Morgan has not been completely diagnosed so her treatments have not begun at this time.

Morgan doesn't have insurance at this time, her mother has had to stop working, and her father has and will keep taking off work to be by their daughter's side. This is going to make it hard to keep up with the regular bills along with the extra expenses that will come up. Any donation would be greatly appreciated!

We plan to keep everyone updated on her diagnosis and progress. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and care about this Beautiful Young Lady. Please Share!!! Share!! Share!!!
