I am fundraising for Saltersgate School, which is a school for young people with special needs. I work in the school next door so I often see the amazing work that is done at Saltersgate with young people who have a huge range of complex additional needs.

The amount I raise will depend on what exactly the school will be able to purchase, but I'm hoping to raise enough for some specialist communication equipment which could help some of the young people communicate more easily.

A good example would be the Eye Gaze technology. This is a range of hardware and software that can allow young people to communicate and interact using only their eyes - this could massively improve the young pupils quality of life.

Any amount you can give would be greatly appreciated! Knowing that I’m raising money for such an important cause will definitely help push me across the seas and hills of Wales!
