Ted's Eswatini Expedition Yorkshire 3 Peaks
Donation protected
I'm taking on the 24 mile, 1500 metre ascent, Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge this Easter to raise money for my World Challenge expedition to Eswatini in July 2025. This well known route attracts up to 100,000 visitors every year so we'll be doing our bit to help the environment by picking up litter on the way.
I am part of a group of young people from Gosforth Academy heading out to explore the wildlife, culture and community of Eswatini. We'll be in Eswatini(formerly Swaziland) for two weeks in July 2025. Although we have a schedule, the day to day running of the expedition will be in the hands of the participants. We will be budgeting, planning and making decisions on the go as we explore the country. I am hoping to learn from local cultures, enjoy the spectacular scenery and see some fantastic wildlife. I am looking forward to what promises to be a genuine challenge.
Arrived home last night after the long walk, it was very tough and challenging but we pushed through. We also collected 3 bags of litter while on the walk and had a really good time too. I really appreciate all the donations, thank you.
