Here is Tedra's Story

I am 38 yrs old. Was diagnosed with stage 4 colorectal cancer. I had no risk factors or family history. Had large abdominal surgery requiring a week in the hospital. Will be having a lung biopsy to determine spread of the cancer. Have already undergone numerous scans and tests. Chemo is expected, and it is expected to last multiple months. Am seeing numerous physicians. Unable to work during this time. Also during this time my husband is leaving me. Trying to cover house payments, household bills, feed for the animals, and now the premiums for my insurance. Disability from work has not kicked in yet.
