Tediverse - helping children with autism and their families

I'm Tom, a dad of 4 who's been working on a platform with my son Teddy (Aged 8).

Teddy was diagnosed with Autism a few years ago and to say it's been a challenge would be an understatement.

I won't bore you all with the details, but recently we came up with an idea to build something that would help Teddy communicate with us - especially when it came to his feelings.

We had an idea and rolled out with a concept in December 2024 - it has now transformed into something far bigger, far more supportive and based on over 80+ conversations with parents, teachers, GPs and other medical professional these past couple of months, could make a big difference.

Help Us Launch Tediverse – The Ultimate Support Platform for Neurodiverse Children!

The Problem?

Raising a neurodiverse child is an adventure—sometimes heartwarming, sometimes chaotic, always unpredictable.

Parents, teachers, and professionals do their best, but the tools meant to help us? They’re a mess.

Right now, families are juggling three, four, sometimes FIVE different apps just to stay connected with schools, track emotions, log behaviors, and set routines.

It’s expensive. It’s inefficient. It’s overwhelming.

And guess what? The kids are the ones who suffer most.

So, we asked ourselves: Why doesn’t one simple, user-friendly platform exist?

Then we realised… because no one built it.

So Why Are We Here?

Building an app like this takes serious funding — in fact we nearly secured funding for the entire launch, but sadly that was pulled due to estimate costings of the project.

But this week I've met with a development team who love our concept, so much so they've reduced their fees to help make this a reality in return for a mention on the website.

We’re looking to raise £25,000 to take Tediverse from prototype to public release.
