Hi!

I’m currently enrolled in Virginia Commonwealth University’s advanced Graduate Studies program with a concentration in Clinical Social Work.  This tract requires my participation in one summer semester that government aid will not cover.  

Professional Goals

I hope to achieve my degree December of this year (2021) so that I can start my career in social justice and provide therapeutic relief to at-risk youth/low-income families.  

My social justice interests lie in the creation and revision of programs/policies to combat the school-to-prison pipeline and reduction of single parent families facing homelessness. 

As a clinical social worker, I’ll aim to work with children, youth, and families who’ve experienced trauma within the family system.  I hope to promote a healthy family structure and tend to the developmental/emotional needs of family members in challenged homes.
