Teddy Sommers Memorial

On December 8, 2019 our 13 year old son Teddy took his own life.  (https://www.aublefuneralhome.com/obituaries/Theodore-Sommers/#!/Obituary ) We love him so much and are absolutely devastated by this tragedy.  During this terribly dark time we have had a tremendous out pouring of support from family, friends and loved ones, many of whom have specifically asked about making financial contributions.  These requests are what has prompted the creation of this Go Fund Me account.  Contributions made will be used to fund the purchase of a grave stone for Teddy, to temporarily ease the financial burden of daily expenses as we mourn the loss of our child and attempt to adjust to life without our beloved Teddy and to help establish a memorial program to increase awareness and prevention of youth suicide which is the second leading cause of death among people ages 15 to 24 in the United States.  Contribute if you would like, but hold close to your loved ones and talk to your children about suicide.
