hey!! if you don't know me, my name is teddy, i'm a 25 year old MA student hoping to go on to PhD — I also have a rare disease, called IIH.

IIH causes a build up of cerebral fluid, around your brain, which causes pressure. This can mean vision loss, dizziness, brain fog, pain, the worst headaches you can imagine, among other things. I also have chronic pain, and undiagnosed bladder and joint problems.

Due to my visual impairments, I am unable to drive legally. and these days, my crutches are giving me back pain and other side effects. I am struggling to leave the house because it hurts to walk after a few minutes. I would really like to start going on walks and enjoying the outdoors again — I used to ride, and enjoy long walks, but those things are simply out of the question at the moment.

UPDATE !! I have a wheelchair now, not the ideal one but it works. Everything I receive from here on in will be used towards other disability costs. thank you, i can't thank you enough. ❤️
