Teddy Bear’s needs your help!!
Teddy Bear Nursery, a charitable organization, dedicates any surplus funds to enhancing the needs of children and covering operational costs. Originally founded as St Peter’s Playgroup in 1979, the nursery transitioned to its new location and rebranded as Teddy Bear Nursery in 2015. Celebrating its 45th year, the nursery has supported over 1300 children and their families.
Since 2020, alongside adapting to COVID-19 challenges, Teddy Bear Nursery has expanded its support by providing food parcels, offering free warm breakfasts during winter, and catering to a high number of children with special educational needs who may not have access to other settings. They also offer sessions for children from families facing health or financial crises, reflecting their commitment to ensuring that every child gets a strong start in life.
Despite facing rising costs in recent years, Teddy Bear Nursery remains committed to maintaining accessibility for all families in the community. Their dedication to working with children with special educational needs and their families has been recognized in their recent ‘outstanding’ Ofsted inspection.
To continue providing these vital services, Teddy Bear Nursery is seeking to raise £15,000 through fundraising efforts. If the nursery has positively impacted your life or that of someone you know, or if they have supported you during challenging times, now is an opportunity to give back. Every contribution, large or small, is greatly appreciated.
While these times present challenges, Teddy Bear Nursery always remains optimistic and deeply appreciates your ongoing support.
