Oscar Meyer Wiener (mini dachshund) and Teddy Wicket Bear  (lhasa apso) are two sweet little old men, and they need your help! They are 13 and a half years old and currently live in Burbank, California. Oscar has always loved and protected his momma, and even in his severe condition, still hobbles to make sure no strange "may-ul men" get too close to her. Teddy still snuggles with his mom, diaper and all, and waits for her outside of the restroom when she's showering. They've done this since they were puppies in momma's little apt, and 13 years later, through moves, ups and downs,  still are just as devoted. 

Teddy has developed a perineal hernia , which was caused by an enlarged prostate. He's in a lot of pain every time he tries to use the bathroom and is going to need surgery to correct this serious issue. He can sometimes go for a day without using the restroom, so his condition is degrading.  He was in the ER last week. 

Oscar stepped on a stone on a walk, and got a cut in his paw. Within 36 hours, the infection had gotten so bad that he had to be rushed to the animal ER where he spent 3 days (and a staggering bill later), discharged and taken to the local vet. The doctors are puzzled and have said things like "How is his infection this bad, but yet has no odor? This is a case that we haven’t gotten before." They're puzzled at his condition and think it actually may be a form of cancer, he is in current need of a biopsy ASAP.  From there, the vets will decide the treatment  or need of amputation, but as of right now, Oscar is fighting hard. He is going to the vet daily, and needs help.

Any funds gathered here will be used directly to pay for the tests, procedures, medications, and followup care these sweet senior pups will need.
