Ted Vollrath-Wheelchair Ramp and Sidewalk Project
Donation protected
One of our team members at BW Flexible Systems has a need that I would like to bring to your attention and ask for your help. In November, Ted Vollrath had a medical issue and underwent surgery to amputate part of his foot. The doctors believe there is a greater than 50% chance that additional amputation may be needed in the future. The surgeon has estimated that it may take up to a year to heal, unless additional surgery is needed, which would mean a much longer healing process.
After his surgery, Ted returned home and he’s using a walker and wheelchair to get around. It’s difficult for Ted to navigate on his own and he often requires assistance. However, the most difficult challenge has proven to be getting from his home to his driveway and vehicle. We would like to do two things for Ted. First, he needs a wheelchair ramp to help him leave / enter his home. Second, he needs a small sidewalk to connect the wheelchair ramp to his driveway.
We are starting this Go Fund Me page to help with these costs. If you are able and would like to give, your donation will be very much appreciated! Thank you for considering this need and most of all, for your generosity!
