Hello friends!  Today is a sad day.  Theodore "Ted" Alan Robinson passed away April  26 in Sparks NV, due to a heart attack.  His mom, Dora who has been his caregiver for 20+ years and who is living on a fixed income will find these unexpected, final expenses too great to manage without help.  

Since Ted's near fatal motorcycle accident in 1993, he has lived with his mom Dora in the Reno area.  Ted was not expected to survive that accident, but he did.  Then the doctors said he would be in a wheelchair for the rest of his life, but he proved them wrong again.

Dora has been like a mother to me, and Ted, like a brother.  As hard as I find it to write this request, it would be impossible for Dora or the two brothers Ted leaves behind.   

Ted has struggled with the result of his accident and being placed on disability at such a young age.  For the first 10 years, he dealt with more surgeries, severe pain and some depression.   For the next two decades Ted dealt with his demons in Ted's way. 

He was funny (both weird AND ha-ha), he was a rock snob and a gun "enthusiast".  He was kind, a grumpy old man, an excellent cook, a pain in the neck, the sweetest guy ever, a babysitter, a shoulder to cry on and my friend.  He was the first of three sons, a brother, an uncle, a nephew, and a cousin.  Ted never married and had no children.
