Please help us support Ted

Ted Parcel was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer a few months ago. This has been devastating for Ted and his family. He has struggled with complications from his treatment that have rendered him unable to work. There has been some support from short-term disability, etc., but with 5 children and, medical bills - disability insurance does not necessarily account for all the expenses his family is facing. This GoFundMe is being created so that any colleagues, friends, or otherwise can offer some financial support that might make this time slightly less stressful for Ted and his family.

Anyone who knows Ted, knows what an incredible surgeon, father, husband, and friend he is to those around him. I want him to know how much he is loved by his hospital family, and I have no doubt in my mind he would do the same for me.

I would prefer this not be posted or shared over social media if possible in order to protect Ted's privacy. Please feel free however to share this with Ted's friends and colleagues via text, email or other means that are not so public.
