Ted Maier Funeral Costs
Donation protected
Note from Asher "Hey everyone, this has been a very hard time for all of us. We would like Dad remembered as the funny charming guy he was. Right up until the end he was fighting for us kids, and he fought so well. We love you Dad and you will always be a part of our lives"
This is Gabriella Grosso. Ted Maier’s daughter in law. Margo and Asher have asked me to step in and start and manage the gofund me account. All funds will go directly towards paying for the funeral home costs. We have picked the Bradshaw-Carter funeral home in Houston, Texas and are meeting tomorrow to finalize all the funeral plans.
Ted was born with a bicuspid heart valve, something his doctors told him he wouldn't have to worry about until his 60's. About 4 weeks ago Teddy was transferred to the Emergency room at Conroe Regional Medical Center after complaining to his doctor that he didn't feel well. This is when we sadly discovered how bad of a shape his heart was in. After being sent home to wait on a Transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) he began to worsen. We then took him to Memorial Hermann in the Woodlands hopeful that we could get him the TAVR more quickly. There they informed us he was in stage 4 heart failure and would need to be transferred to Memorial Hermann in the downtown medical center. The wonderful doctors did all they could to stabilize him and ready him for surgery but unfortunately, Teddy's time had come. Teddy believed in the Kingdom and Christs' return. He is asleep in Christ and carries this hope with him.
Any help with funds would be greatly appreciated and we are still awaiting the hospital bills within the coming weeks. Thank you so much for all your kind words and love.
Love,
