Ted Boykin- Helping with hospital & surgery costs

Hi, our names are Rick Eimers and Ryan Edlind. We are writing today about Ted and have known him for over 30 years. In 1992 Ted became a dorm parent at Clarks Summit University, taught us theology, mentored countless students, and to this day continues to speak powerfully into our lives as our dear friend.

You may not know this, but Ted has faced several significant health issues over the last two years. He had two pulmonary embolisms (one life-threatening), and several hospital stays, and will soon be undergoing surgery to remove a tumor from his kidney. According to his doctor, this tumor is likely a cancerous tumor called "renal cell carcinoma."

The school and the Boykin's church are supportive that we have set up this GoFundMe to financially help Ted and his family at this time. They recognize the out-of-pocket expenses for Ted's care have significantly affected his family's finances.

Most importantly, would you consider praying for Ted, Sherry, and Katherine? Letting them know you are praying and sending them encouragement via social media would be most appreciated! Also, if you can give financially in some big or small way to help with the medical bills would mean a lot to them.

We are planning to celebrate what God has done through the Boykins in August of '23. We will certainly recognize how you have responded to this opportunity to give and how their hardship points many people to the Lord.
