Funds for legal and recovery from Sexual Assault

Update: Dear friends and donors of my Go FundMe. I am so overwhelmed and touched by your love and support - community does exist even when London feels like it is going to drag you down. I cannot thank you enough. The man who attacked me has been charged and will appear in court in two weeks, he remains in custody. Hopefully this will prevent a similar thing happening to somebody else. I have increased the target of my GoFund me simply because I did not believe the previous goal possible but if I can give myself a few weeks off work, hire proper legal protection and seek private therapy sessions that would make such a difference to me right now. Hello, my name is Teck. I am a London based queer artist and a drag queen/performer. On September 6th, following my 25th birthday, I was sexually assaulted and robbed outside Edgware Station. The next day, I was found at the underground platform with hypoglycemia and taken to Royal Free Hospital.

Since then, the MET Police have initiated an investigation to find the perpetrator. I am currently without my phone, wallet, or passport. We are very close to identifying the person responsible, so I am raising funds to support legal assistance, therapy, and cover my rent following the assault.

In addition to the physical trauma, this incident has had a significant impact on my mental health. I am experiencing high levels of anxiety, fear, and emotional distress. It has become increasingly difficult for me to cope with daily life and maintain my well-being. I am in desperate need of therapy and support to help me navigate through this challenging time.

Despite the events that occurred on the night of September 5th and 6th, I am still attending work as it is my only source of income at the moment. However, balancing work and my mental health has become incredibly challenging. I am unable to fully focus on my recovery and healing process, which is taking a toll on my overall well-being.

I would greatly appreciate any donations you can provide to help cover the costs of therapy and support my mental health journey. Your generosity will not only assist me in healing but also enable me to take the necessary time off work to prioritize my recovery.
