Technology for Autism Classes at EETNS
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Rachel and I am fundraising for technology for the autism classes at Ennis Educate Together National School. Over a decade ago, I completed my MA thesis on the benefits of utilizing technology for students following differentiated learning paths. Now, as the mum of an autistic child, I see firsthand the benefits on recall, retention, and independence that technology can provide for students who process information differently.
Ennis Educate Together National School, based in County Clare, Ireland is a mainstream school of over 100 students and is classified as a DEIS school, meaning that many of our students face educational disadvantage. Our 2 autism classes each consist of 6 students, 2 SNAs, and 1 teacher.
We could not be happier with the education and inclusivity of the school. It truly is a community where each child is known and accepted as an individual. Staff consistently go above and beyond for their students and provide an embracing community for parents.
The money raised will go directly to technology for the autism classes to supplement and support their education. It would mean a great deal to the amazing children of our classes, as well as me personally, if this fundraiser could be wildly successful!
We would be delighted if you could support this fundraising project in any way! For more information about our school and educational approach, please visit: http://eetns.ie/
