TECA Surgery For Raila

Hi! My name is Mavvie and my kitty Raila is my world. I've had her since she was 6 weeks old, I'm 24 and she's 14 now and has seen so much life with me, unfortunately I didn't know she was living most of that life in pain. She has had chronic ear infections since she was 3. Every vet visit claimed it was ear mites, polyps, or just dirt and buildup, but that was never the root of the problem. After 11 years of expensive vet visits, we finally met with a specialist dermatologist who said she has a benign tumor and recommended TECA surgery or putting her down which I do not have the heart to do. All of her vets said she's healthy and her vitals are great. She still eats, drinks, and even tries to play sometimes when she's not in pain. Putting her down when I know the surgery will be rewarding is not something I'm willing to do. The surgery itself costs $3,000 and she needs a CT scan done prior which is $2000, they will not do the surgery without the CT scan. I cannot afford this surgery or her follow-up visits on my own. Since January this year her past vet visits have cost me around $4000, including transportation and medication. After finding this news out in March, I searched every day for the earliest appointment, the nearest one I could find was in September which would be too late for her because her ear is getting worse day by day. I was lucky yesterday and found an appointment for this Monday, but now I need help to afford it on such short notice. I always said I never wanted a kid but I really want Raila, please help me help her! I would be happy with any contribution or well wishes, it will help me a great deal. Thank you!!
