Support Tea-Mone's Academic Journey in Paris

Hi everyone! My name is Tea-Mone and I'm currently a Junior at Emory University. This summer I was planning on participating in a summer study abroad program in Paris for my major (Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology) to help complete my last major requirements before next year so I can take time studying for the MCAT and focus on continuing work in my cancer research lab, as well as incorporate a multi-cultural perspective into my education as the classes will be focused on French education and history in relation to my major.

However, I recently encountered an unexpected financial hurdle. While I typically receive scholarships for my education throughout the school year, things tend to run differently over the summer and I was just informed this week that not everything is able to be covered. I do have some funds set aside for my trip that were mostly going to go towards food, living expenses, etc., but aren't enough to cover the cost of tuition. As the deadline for payment approaches at the end of May, withdrawing from the program isn't feasible at this point. I'm reaching out to you all for support in funding this educational experience. Your generosity would not only enable me to seize this invaluable academic opportunity but also propel me forward in my journey towards contributing to cancer research and integrating diverse perspectives into my education.
