Tearfund: Dare to Journey

Amy Weir is organizing this fundraiser to benefit Tearfund.

Hi!

I’m Amy, and I’m taking part in Tearfund’s ‘Dare to Journey’ campaign.

Tearfund believes that by raising awareness of the refugee crisis, we can support and stand with people forced out of their homes and countries of belonging.

There are over 100 million displaced people worldwide, from over 30 different crisis zones; they are our neighbours and we are called to help them.

My goal is to do 30(ish) hikes, in 30(ish) days, and walk a distance of 245 miles.

This is how far someone might have to walk from Juba to the border with Ethiopia.

But I’ll need your help!
