No parent is ever prepared to hear the words that their child has cancer.

Recently, our neighbor Yailyn and her family received devastating news, she has been diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of leukemia. In an instant, their lives changed. What should be days filled with school, friends, and cheer have quickly been replaced with hospital visits, treatments, and unimaginable uncertainty.

Right now, Yailyn’s family is focused on what matters most: being by her side, supporting her through treatment, and helping their brave little girl fight this battle.

But as many families facing childhood cancer know, the emotional toll is only one part of the journey. Medical treatments, hospital stays, travel, time away from work, and everyday living expenses can quickly become overwhelming.

This fundraiser was created to help lift some of that burden so Yailyn’s family can focus on her healing and recovery instead of financial stress.

Our community has already begun coming together to support Yailyn. We are also organizing local fundraisers to show this family that they are not alone in this fight.
