TeamUSA Athlete Michael Tkachuk

Hello,

My name is Michael Tkachuk and I am representing Team USA. I earned the opportunity by competing and placing high enough at two events at Duathlon National Championships in May 2021. As a result of this, I have the privilege to compete for Team USA at Duathlon World Championships in Townsville, Australia in August 2022.

I do not receive any financial support from Team USA or the governing body of duathlon to prepare for or compete in these kinds of events, which is the reason I am asking for your help to make this a reality. $15,000 seems like a lot, but travel, training, nutrition, and normal wear and tear on equipment add up quickly.

The purpose of this video and brief introduction is to give you a glimpse of who I am and what makes me get up every day to pursue this passion.
