Everyone meet my grandson, Tyce! Tyce is the sweetest, most loving, and energetic 6 year old that you will ever meet. He loves Marvel and DC characters; and has been looking forward to going to 1st grade all summer. After only two days of school, we had to withdraw him, because during a checkup we found out he has cancer.  After many months of (waking up in the middle of the night) with night sweats, and complaints of pain in his legs the doctors diagnosed him with Hodgkin Lymphoma Stage 4B. I’m sure you can imagine the devastation his parents and our family felt with this sudden news. Who can imagine their 6 yr. old with cancer? Though the epidemic of cancer has increased (even with children) it's something you never think will happen to you…but especially not your baby.

As you can imagine there is a huge financial burden when dealing with illness. Not only do you have co-pays, out-of-pocket deductible, but you also have parking, food, as well as your regular living expenses. Working for my daughter isn’t possible with the constant hospitalization, so we are hoping to give her some help during this traumatic time.
