Cancer Caretaker Crusade

My niece, Tyanne, 30 years old, mother of three children was diagnosed with Stage 4 Angiosarcoma, a rare form of tissue cancer sarcoma. Angiosarcomas tend to be aggressive, recur locally, and spread widely.
The symptoms started late this summer then around September 10th just a few weeks after having one of her kidney’s removed, tests showed that the tumor on the kidney was Angiosarcoma and at a PET scan showed that the cancer had spread to both lungs at an exceptionally rapid speed.
We are asking for help for her mom, my sister, Lisa, as she cares for her once vibrant and energetic young daughter while she is fighting this cancer and going through chemo to slow the growth of the cancer and extend her time here with her family. She is her rock, her cheerleader, her caretaker, her therapist, her friend and just an awesome person, but she is also living on a very fixed income.
Please consider joining our efforts to help Lisa as her caregiver so she can physically and emotionally care for her terminally ill daughter. Many caregivers suffer "financial hardship" as a result of their caregiving. Lisa will be missing work and incurring expenses to take Tyanne to Iowa City to receive her chemo treatments and see her doctor. Travel to Iowa City is a necessity as this is the closest facility with a sarcoma specialist. And due to the early appointment times an overnight stay is inevitable. She will be needing help for gas costs, food and lodging while traveling. Whether she is paying for prescription medications, installing medical equipment in the home or simply lost wages from time spent caregiving, these out-of-pocket costs can build up over time. We would like to ask for help to financially offset these expenses and free her thoughts from these necessary responsibilities so she can focus on the time she and Tyanne have together.
In addition to financial help we strongly believe in the power of prayer and would ask that you put Tyanne and Lisa on your prayer list. Psalm 66:19-20 but truly God has listened; he has attended to the voice of my prayer. Blessed be God, because he has not rejected my prayer or removed his steadfast love from me! What a wonderful and exalted privilege we have in being able to come boldly before the throne of Almighty God with our prayers and requests! Thank you for your care and concern in this cancer crusade.
