Help Sue Bun WIN her fight against cancer

Hi, this is Team Bun and we are here to enlist your help and support for our much-loved Mama Sue Lee Bun. Sue and her family recently received devastating news that she has stage 4 lung cancer, that has spread to her spine and brain. Currently, her tumors are thought to be inoperable, but Sue will start radiation treatments immediately as she is a fighter! This is going to be a very difficult journey for Sue and her family physically, mentally, emotionally, and financially. While the fate of cancer cannot be reversed, your contribution towards medical expenses will assist Sue in fighting her battle and allow her to focus on healing, and help offset the immediate and long term future of hospital bills.

If you aren’t familiar with Sue, she is a much-loved strong woman in the offroad industry and community. Aside from being a strong and humble human being, Sue is an amazing friend to many, a dedicated mother, an exceptional wife, and loving daughter. Sue has been married to her wonderful husband, Chai, for 26 years. They have been blessed with two self-reliant, adventurous, and loving boys, Nikom and Savon. Sue is the rock of the family. According to Chai, “She’s more than a wife, she is my adventure partner, my whole life. She is more than a mother to the boys; she's their go to person for advice with life and girls. She’s the glue that bonds our family together.” Along the way, she picked up the love and passion for rebuilding and driving off-road vehicles, along with a love for the community. It mainly started with “getting the family outside” and escaping to the beautiful isolated and less traveled areas we have all come to love. Sue has a fierce love for her family and friends and is a rock to many. She takes on life's challenges like she does the rocks she loves to crawl, with no fear.

A message from Sue:

Going into 2024 I had big plans with many new connections within the offroad community. I was looking forward to events and trail runs. My family and I had plans to build an innovative campground for the offroad community and expanding our business to a new level. Missing out on special family occasions, future goals, and adventures are among my biggest fears. In addition, I’m terrified of getting robbed of the opportunities to witness my boys’ personal and professional growth and to enjoy special moments with friends— whether it be driving on the trails, camping, attending events, or cooking up a storm at home. I know I will have a difficult journey ahead, but I know I have the best group of muscles in my corner with the love and support from my family, friends and community and I’m going to WIN.
