Emily Trains for Winter Paralympics

My name is Emily but they call me Starfish on the hill.  My goal is to get to the 2018 Winter Paralympics and participate as a blind athlete in the para alpine/snowboard events.  I am no stranger to the hill.  I have been a skiier for over 10 years now and have been snowboarding for over 6 years now. 
In order to get to the Paralympics an athlete such as myself needs to train both on the hill and off the hill and that training is not very cheap and can become very expensive very quickly.  So Ive created this gofundme account in an effort to help me fundraise to help me pay for my off/on hill training that is needed in order for me to have a better chance at competing at the Paralympics.  Any donation (no matter how big or small) is greatly accepted!
