From Shaedyn's mother and father, Elizabeth and Chris Warzecha:
It is with broken, grieving hearts that we have to share the news that yesterday evening around 6:30 pm, May 23, 2018 our beloved Shaedyn went home to be with Jesus. She is dancing with the angels.
Thank you everyone for the love and support that you have shown Shaedyn and our family.

March - April 2018
Shaedyn is just 23 months old, but in her short life she has brought so much joy, love and laughter to everyone that knows her. She has always been very active, loves to dance and even as a newborn she always wanted to be around people. She has even enjoyed learning how to hop and how to tumble.
She began having a series of ailments in March and doctor visits without any resolution to the symptoms she was experiencing. During this time the energetic little girl we all know and love became very lethargic. She was having difficulty sleeping and was increasingly irritable, began wanting to sleep most of the day away and only wanted her mom, Elizabeth, to hold her.
It became so concerning that, on Sunday, March 18th her father Chris and Elizabeth decided to bring her in to be seen by a doctor yet again. This Austin Regional Clinic doctor recommended that some blood tests be done. The results of those tests showed that she had profound anemia. The hematologist said that she had Pancytopenia and recommended admitting her to Dell Children's Medical Center of Central Texas.
More blood tests were run that Monday, a spinal tap was done and her bone marrow was tested. The results came back and Monday evening Shaedyn was diagnosed with B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL).
After receiving enough transfusions to get her blood counts to an acceptable level a procedure was performed to install a portacath and Shaedyn received her first of a 2.5+ years long regimen of chemotherapy.
The Warzecha family are some of the most warm, welcoming people you'll ever meet. Right now they "are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair." All of us that love them and are within physical reach of them are doing all we can to try and meet whatever needs we can with our own individual, limited time and resources. The reality is that not any one of us can do it alone and we want the Warzechas, we want Shaedyn to know that she is not in this fight for her life alone.
If you are reading this story we believe you found your way to this fundraiser for a reason. We are asking anyone who sees this to thoughtfully, prayerfully, consider donating to the cause of helping this little girl and her family pay for the long road ahead; the medical procedures and the bills that will result from them.
Thank you for all of your support. Please continue to pray for our girl!
